1. Scope and Definitions

These betting rules govern all wagers placed on the 12bet platform. Settlement is based on official sources and published results. The terms herein apply to all sporting events and markets available through 12bet, unless a market description states otherwise. In this document, 12bet refers to the operator providing the betting service, and the customer refers to the user placing bets.

2. General Betting Rules

2.1 Settlement basis. The outcome of every market is settled when the result is officially determined by the appropriate governing body or authority. Where an official result is not published, 12bet reserves the right to settle using the most credible data source available. If a market or price is published with an error, 12bet reserves the right to void or correct the affected bets.

• 2.2 Official results and delays. Settlement will rely on the official result. If a result is unavailable, bets may be void or settled at 12bet’s discretion after due consideration of credible sources.
• 2.3 Price accuracy. Bets placed at advertised prices on third-party sites may be rejected. Only live published prices on 12bet are eligible for betting purposes.
• 2.4 Bet integrity. Bets may be voided or unsettled if events are manipulated or if there are integrity concerns, including suspected fraud. Settlement may be withheld pending investigation by relevant authorities.
• 2.5 Change of event details. Bets may be voided if a match is moved to a different venue, if the lineup changes significantly, or if the event is otherwise altered in a manner that affects outcomes beyond the market description.
• 2.6 Bet acceptance. Bets cannot be canceled or altered once placed and confirmed, except as expressly provided by these rules or by 12bet in exceptional circumstances.
• 2.7 Postponed or abandoned events. If a listed event is postponed or abandoned, bets may be void or settled based on the official outcome if resumed within the applicable time frame; otherwise unsettled bets may be voided and stakes refunded where required by the rule set for the event type.
• 2.8 Void and resettlement. Bets deemed incorrectly settled are subject to resettlement within 48 hours. 12bet reserves the right to reclaim mispaid winnings where appropriate.
• 2.9 Odds display and settlement. Bets are settled using decimal odds regardless of the odds format selected. Visual odds on screen may be truncated for display purposes; the total odds are calculated using a separate rounding convention as described in clause 2.11.
• 2.10 Settlement timelines. The maximum period between settlement of a betslip and any required re-settlement is 30 days.
• 2.11 Displayed odds and winnings. To aid display clarity, 12bet truncates displayed odds to two decimal places; the total odds used for calculation may use higher precision for internal accounting, with payouts rounded to two decimals for customers.

3. Outright and Special Markets

3.1 Play-or-Pay principle. For outright markets that list a participant who is unable to compete, bets generally stand as losses unless specifically stated otherwise in the market description. If a listed participant is replaced by another participant, team markets remain valid while certain individual markets may be void.

3.2 Market integrity and exceptions. Markets tied to a single event's outcome may be settled or voided in accordance with official rulings, including disciplinary actions, forfeits, or other governing body determinations. Play-or-pay considerations do not apply to head-to-head markets unless explicitly stated.

4. In-Play and Live Betting Rules

4.1 Real-time settlement. In-play bets rely on live results and official data. If an event is interrupted, 12bet may pause settlement until the event resumes or an official determination is announced.

4.2 VAR and incident handling. If a decision by video assistant referee or similar authority retroactively alters a prior on-field decision, bets placed in the window between the original incident and the final decision may be voided if the change affects the market’s outcome or odds offered at the time of bet acceptance. Other markets unaffected by the VAR decision will stand.

5. Sport-Specific Settlement Principles

5.1 Football (Soccer)

• Markets settle on the official result at the end of regular time unless a market description specifies otherwise. Extra time, penalties, or shootouts are only included when explicitly stated for the market.
• Dead heat and tie rules apply where relevant; if a draw is a listed outcome option, bets on the draw are settled accordingly.

5.2 American Football

• Settlement follows the official result after the scheduled play time; overtime counts only if the market specifies inclusion of overtime. If a result is not available within 48 hours, the market may be voided.
• Minimum play thresholds apply for certain markets to qualify for payout (for example, a minimum portion of the game must have been completed).

5.3 Athletics

• Results are determined by the official governing body. Outright markets remain active where the participant continues to be listed, unless stated otherwise.

5.4 Australian Rules Football

• Markets settle based on the official result after the scheduled playing time, including stoppages but excluding extra time unless specified. If a match is postponed and not resumed within the defined window, unsettled markets may be voided.

5.5 Badminton

• Results are based on the official governing body. If a match is postponed and not resumed within the appointed window, undecided markets are void unless an official result is declared.

6. General Provisions and Dispute Handling

6.1 Error handling. Where a misprint, system error, or obvious mistake affects a bet, 12bet may suspend, void, or correct the affected bets. Customers may request clarification or re-settlement decisions within a reasonable period after notice.

6.2 Data integrity and third-party data. 12bet relies on official data sources for settlement. If an event is not started on time or is postponed, 12bet reserves the right to determine whether bets remain valid or are voided in accordance with the market description and governing rules.

6.3 Compliance and responsible gaming. All bets are subject to applicable laws and 12bet’s internal policies. 12bet will cooperate with regulatory authorities and maintain customer information in accordance with the privacy and data protection provisions applicable to the jurisdiction of operation.

7. Modifications to the Rules

12bet may amend these rules at any time and will publish such changes online. The English version remains the official version for interpretation. Any changes take effect on publication unless a different effective date is stated.
